Create and run a basic script, define and use a speed button

| a) Click the tab labeled "NTinfo"
|
|
|
| b) Select the "machine" radiobutton, enter a machine name in the "Domain or machine list" field.
|
|
|
| c) Check the "OS, SP, fixes" checkbox under OS.
|
|
|
| d) Click the "Create script from GUI" button.
|
|
|
|
|
|
| AdmWin now switches to the NTreport editor where a script has been created:
|
|
|
|
| Click the green triangle button or press CTRL+R on the keyboard to start the script.
|
|
|
|
|
| The GUI switches to NTinfo mode and the script is executed, then the GUI returns to the NTreport editor.
|
|
|
| Click the tab labeled NTinfo to view the extracted data.
|
| a) Go back to NTreport editor. Press CTRL+S and save the script as "ntinfo_3.cnu" in the AdmWin root directory. Important: the filename must be spelled exactly as shown here.

|
|
| b) Click the tab labeled NTinfo, then click the third NTreport button to execute the script.
